The Original. Reimagined.

Ten years later. Sixty years on. Still Bajan to the bone.

Bajan Cherry began in 2016 as Bay & Bim, a jewellery brand first launched alongside  Lee-Anne’s talent for Miss Barbados UK. Inspired by a love for Barbados, the national trident and Rihanna’s iconic trident ring in Pon de Replay, the vision was to create pieces that allowed Bajans to represent their heritage with pride. The love and interest the jewellery received marked the beginning of an entrepreneurial journey.

In 2024, Bay & Bim was reborn as Bajan Cherry, bringing that same love for Barbados into a new chapter.

Along the way, seeing the original design replicated and the idea appear everywhere became part of the journey. Through it all, the original remains close to the heart of the brand, with deep gratitude for everyone who has continued to wear and support those first pieces to this day.

Ten years on, this redesign feels like a full-circle moment. Relaunching for Barbados’ 60th Independence anniversary and five years as a republic makes this chapter even more special. A decade later, the vision remains the same: celebrating where we come from and wearing our heritage with pride.

To the day ones who have been here since the beginning, thank you for the continued love and support. This is just another chapter.
